A big thank you for the excellent gala at the weekend, all of the Dover lifeguard club swimmers had a fantastic time. It was a pity about the boom moving at the end of the gala as this spoilt an otherwise superb weekend. All at your club deserve a pat on the back for the professional and friendly way they ran the gala. The announcer deserves a special mention as she kept everyone informed what was going on and she was clear and precise.I would like to ask if the warm-up could be managed a little better next year as it seemed a bit manic at times. Also it might be worth trying to get a volunteer to watch the warm-down pool as there was some messing about going on which could have been avoided if there was a reponsible person from the organisers there.We look forward to next years meet. | |
